Description

Breacher Squads are deployed into the most dangerous combat zones, from brutal ship-to-ship boarding actions to the opening assaults against heavily fortified positions. Since the earliest campaigns of the Great Crusade, their battlefield role has driven the development of specialised equipment and doctrines, most notably the widespread adoption of reinforced shields and purpose-built weapons designed to break through bulkheads and fortified defences.

This multipart plastic kit lets you assemble ten Breacher Squad Legionaries, heavily armoured close-assault troops for Legiones Astartes armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Armed with boarding shields and compact bolters, these warriors can endure volumes of fire that would overwhelm standard Tactical Legionaries. They provide a durable, flexible unit capable of delivering reliable firepower at close to medium range.

The kit includes components to build a variety of specialist models, including an optional Sergeant, a Legionary equipped with a nuncio-vox, one bearing a vexilla, and another carrying an augury scanner. The Sergeant offers two head options—helmeted or bare—and can be armed with a power sword, power fist, or lightning claw, with the option to add a melta bomb. Additional weapon choices allow one Legionary to be equipped with a graviton gun and another with a lascutter. A selection of accessories such as grenades, holsters, and utility pouches is also included, all of which can be mixed across the squad.

The miniatures are free of Legion-specific iconography, making them suitable for any Legiones Astartes army, whether loyalist or traitor.

Also included is a Legiones Astartes Infantry Transfer Sheet containing 618 high-quality waterslide decals. These feature Legion symbols for forces such as the Iron Warriors, Sons of Horus, Salamanders, and Imperial Fists, along with numerals, honour insignia, script, generic markings, and command icons.

The kit contains 249 plastic components and ten 32mm round bases. Miniatures are supplied unassembled and unpainted; Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints are recommended for assembly and painting.
